Yes, in order to offer the best quality surf sessions we need you to have had at least one surf lesson / have moderate paddling experience. Our retreats are open to advanced beginners to experienced surfers. Surf sessions are tailored to your ability, with guidance focused on safety, confidence, and progression at your own pace.

Fly into Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN) in Aguadilla, which is about a 30–40 minute drive from Rincón. You can also fly into San Juan (SJU) and rent a car for a scenic 2.5–3 hour drive across the island. We recommend renting a car for flexibility, and detailed travel guidance will be provided upon booking.

Many of our guests arrive solo and often leave with lifelong connections. Retreats are intentionally designed to foster community, connection, and ease, making it comfortable and welcoming to come on your own.

No, surfboards can be provided during the retreat - hard board and soft top options. If you have a board you love and prefer to travel with it, you’re welcome to bring it, but it’s not required. We’ll help match boards to conditions and ability levels.

No worries at all. Our plant-based meals are nourishing, flavorful, and designed to support active days and deep rest. Many guests are new to plant-based eating and leave feeling surprised, satisfied, and energized.
