Meet the Team

Ommi is rooted in a deep family history of chefs, cooks, bakers and creators. My experience in the kitchen comes from watching my Lebanese and Venezuelan parents curating a line of family restaurants and bakeries- and a table full of love and lots of food at home.

My role led me through years of learning, growing, burning everything, success, failure, and learning some more. Our bookshelves were always filled with piles of cookbooks and there was almost always something in the oven and on the stove. 

I am inspired by the lush creativity that surrounds the town I call home and the foods that will always remind me of it. Nothing brings me back to my roots, back down to earth, more than time spent with myself and whole, real, gratitude filled food. With Puerto Rico being a place that holds so much of my heart, personal growth - being a part of such a connected, authentic experience and sharing in the passions of the inspiring curators and guests is a sacred, blessed honor.
