THE YOGA
Slow down where the ocean sets the rhythm. Our yin yoga sessions in Puerto Rico are an invitation to soften, restore, and reconnect — balancing long surf days with deep rest. Held in warmth, nature, and stillness, this is space to breathe, release, and return to yourself.
A nervous system reset
Arles Dupont has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. She completed her first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Mexico in 2015 and has been teaching and traveling ever since. Her teaching journey has taken her around the world, including Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico, where she has shared her passion for mindful movement in diverse settings and communities.
Rooted in alignment and breath, Arles’ classes are slow, strong, creative, and balancing. The essence of her teaching is to cultivate awareness and bring simplicity, joy, and inspiration to her students — creating space to move with intention, reconnect inward, and find ease both on and off the mat.
Our process is simple and thoughtful.
Yoga at El Sol Club retreats is intentionally yin-based, designed to support the body and nervous system through full, active days in the ocean. These sessions offer space to slow down, soften, and restore ~ creating balance alongside the physical demands of surfing.
Through longer-held postures, breath awareness, and guided stillness, yin yoga helps release tension, improve mobility, and calm the nervous system. Each class is an invitation to rest deeply, reconnect with the body, and prepare both physically and mentally for time in the water. This practice supports recovery, enhances flexibility, and fosters a sense of grounded presence that carries into your surf sessions.
Yoga is not treated as an add-on, but as an essential counterpart to surfing ~ creating space for integration, reflection, and renewal.
