Meet Arles Dupont

Arles Dupont is a surf and yoga teacher, retreat leader, and creative with over a decade of experience guiding people back to themselves through movement, nature, and intentional living. For the past six years, she has led sold-out international retreats across Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, creating immersive experiences rooted in presence, connection, and adventure.

With 10 years of surf instruction spanning from those catching their very first wave to advanced levels, Arles approaches surfing as more than a sport ~ it’s a teacher. The ocean has been a constant source of joy, presence, and humility in her life, offering lessons in patience, resilience, trust, and confidence. Sharing those lessons, especially with women, has become the heart of her work. Surfing creates space to step outside comfort zones, build self-belief, and reconnect with inner strength, all through play and connection with nature.

Alongside surfing, Arles has spent the last 10 years teaching yoga around the world. From studios to beaches, jungles to rooftops, yoga has been a grounding force ~ a practice that mirrors the rhythms of the ocean and supports both stillness and strength. The connection between yoga and surfing feels natural to her: breath, balance, awareness, and presence weaving seamlessly between land and sea.

For the past 6 years, Arles has led sold-out surf and yoga retreats through El Sol Club and Reconnect Retreats, hosting experiences from Montauk to Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and the Maldives. Each retreat is thoughtfully designed to create space for connection — to self, to community, and to the natural world ~ always prioritizing presence over pressure.

Creativity is another pillar of Arles’ life and work. She is the founder of three purpose-driven businesses: ‘Aina the Zero Waste Shop, El Sol Club, and Reconnect Retreats ~ all rooted in conscious living, sustainability, and meaningful experience. Capturing photos has become a natural extension of her love for storytelling, movement, and light. Through photography and content creation, she finds joy in freezing fleeting moments, emotion, and energy, helping others tell their stories in a way that feels honest and embodied.

About El Sol Club

Rooted in the ocean, slow living, and adventure, El Sol Club exists as a space for connection, to self, nature, and community. It was created as a response to the fast-paced, productivity-driven world, offering an intentional alternative that values presence over pressure and experience over routine.

El Sol Club comes to life through surf retreats, surf and yoga experiences, creative content, and community-led gatherings, but at its core, it is about how we move through the world.

It invites curiosity, courage, and conscious living, encouraging people to step outside the familiar, reconnect with their bodies, and rediscover joy through movement, the ocean, and shared experience.

Whether through time in the water, mindful movement, creative expression, or intentional rest, El Sol Club is an invitation to slow down, tune in, and live in rhythm with nature. It’s not just where you go… it’s how you choose to show up.
