THE SURFING
Surfing in Puerto Rico with El Sol Club goes far beyond simply catching waves. Each session is thoughtfully guided and tailored to advanced beginners through advanced surfers looking to improve technique, style, and confidence.
In Rhythm With the Sea
Arles Dupont is a seasoned surf coach with over a decade of experience guiding women in the ocean, from first green waves to refining technique on more advanced breaks. Rooted in ocean awareness, confidence-building, and flow, her coaching style blends technical surf knowledge with an intuitive understanding of the sea. Having surfed and taught around the world, Arles is passionate about helping surfers build trust in themselves and the ocean ~ especially when navigating new environments like reef breaks. Her approach is supportive, empowering, and grounded in community, encouraging progression without pressure.
Our process is simple and thoughtful.
Sessions include in-water coaching, local surf spot guiding, and intentional progression focused on positioning, timing, wave selection, and flow. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of surfing over reef, reading swell and wind, and moving with confidence in unfamiliar lineups. Surf theory and video analysis are woven throughout the retreat, allowing you to see your surfing from a new perspective and translate awareness into action.
Just as important as the waves is the community we build in the water ~ supportive, encouraging, and rooted in shared growth. This is a space to push comfort zones safely, celebrate progress, and reconnect with why surfing brings so much joy.
